So, your business is on social media. Now what? You probably want to know if it’s being effective or not, right? Of course! You don’t want to waste your time on a certain form of marketing if you aren’t seeing positive ROI. That’s where social media analytics tools come in. We’ve picked out some of our favorite analytics tools to share with you.
1. Sprout Social
Turbine loves, loves, loves Sprout Social! This site is more business page oriented, which is great for your analytics. You can look into account demographics, reach and engagement, and schedule social media posts. Want to look at analytics for a certain month or quarter? No problem! Sprout Social allows you to pick dates that you want to look over. You can manage multiple accounts at a time and search for them using keywords. Sprout Social offers a free 30-day trial and then for the Standard package it costs $40/month.
Hootsuite is also a tool we use at Turbine. We love how easy it is to schedule social media posts. You can manage multiple accounts at one time and measure your social media traffic. There is a free version of Hootsuite that allows up to five profiles and gives you limited analytic information. For a more in-depth look at your social media profiles, you’ll have to upgrade, which costs about $11/month. There is a free, 30-day trial like Sprout Social.
Klout is great for measuring your social media influence across multiple networks. This is based on how people interact with your posts. Klout gives a score between 1 and 100. The higher the score, the more influential you are. Klout provides a chart that shows you which social media outlet you are more influential on. Unlike Hootsuite and Sprout Social, Klout is free.
If you want to know where you stand on social media, look into analytics sites. Check out the three we discussed and you’ll get a good idea of how you’re doing!
